Welcome to my home on the net!! My name is Cheri and I have been an artist and crafter most of my life. I studied Graphic Design and Fine Art in the 90’s at the University of the Fraser Valley and have led a full and creative life so far. I have been a freelance artist, sign designer, art teacher, starving artist… you name it, I’ve done it. Even owned my own studio for a time. Now I am finding myself in a time where I am simply an Artist. I create for myself, by myself at home and I want to share my daily creative life and styles with you. Here you will find inspiration, tutorials and advice. I hope you stay awhile and return often.

My art style is really all over the place. I paint mainly in acrylics but in the moment I tend to use whatever is nearest to my hands.. so many works end up as Mixed Media. I paint whimsy and abstract and somewhere in between realism and impressionism. As I said… I tend to be all over the place. I hope you enjoy my style and find something inspiring somewhere on this site.

These are my furry artist assistants. I am confident that not a single piece of my artwork is not in some way altered by additional pet hair or pawprints. They are also my favorite subjects to paint, draw, create!!!!
